Rydal Lodge

If you're looking for a relaxing lakeside break with plenty of home comforts, Rydal Lodge is a fantastic choice. This stylish and modern lodge sits in a peaceful cul-de-sac at White Cross Bay, right on the shores of Lake Windermere. It's a wonderful spot for couples or small families who want to be close to the water and the action, but still have a quiet place to retreat to.

Inside, the lodge feels bright and spacious with a lovely open-plan living area. There's plenty of room to cook, eat, and relax together after a day of exploring. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering, and the comfortable lounge is a great space to unwind.

There are two bedrooms to choose from: a luxurious super-king-size room with its own en-suite shower, and a flexible second room with both a double and a single bed, making it great for families. A separate family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the indoor space.

The outside area is a real highlight. A spacious, gated deck wraps around three sides of the lodge, which is brilliant for letting your dog stretch their legs safely. There's a large outdoor sofa for lounging in the sun, and tucked away to the side is your own private hot tub. It's the perfect spot to sink into the bubbles and relax after a busy day on the fells.

The location is fantastic. You're just a short walk from the marina and the lakeshore, where you can watch the boats and enjoy the stunning views. On the park itself, you have access to a bar, restaurant, and children's play area. Just up the road is the Brockhole Visitor Centre with its treetop treks and gardens, and the bustling towns of Windermere, Bowness, and Ambleside are all just a few miles away. It's a brilliant base for making special memories in the Lakes.
